Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU), NHERI 2023: Characterizing the Influence of Floor Roughness on Wind Turbulence in a Boundary Layer Wind Tunnel

This project explores the influence of roughness element configurations in a boundary layer wind tunnel using data from the University of Florida Boundary Layer Wind Tunnel. It focuses on mean wind speed, turbulence intensity, skewness, and kurtosis profiles. The data used for the study could be manipulated to use in other experiments with the interest of measuring and/or studying other parameters.
