National Park Service Trails This feature layer, utilizing data from the National Park Service (NPS), displays National Park trails within the United States. Per NPS, “The National Trails System Act of 1968, as amended, calls for establishing trails in both urban and rural settings for people of all ages, interests, skills, and physical abilities. The act promotes the enjoyment and appreciation of trails while encouraging greater public access.” Fort Circle Hiker-Biker Trail Data currency: This cached Esri federal service is checked weekly for updates from its enterprise federal source (Trails) and will support mapping, analysis, and data exports.
