This study’s objective is to lend insight into the balance between local adaptation and gene flow in geographically distinct C. funebralis populations. We sampled 15 C. funebralis individuals from each of three northern and three southern California populations and then performed double digest restriction site-associated (ddRAD) DNA sequencing to examine genome-wide population structure and to test for genetic signatures of divergent selection.
