Transcriptions of Brazilian Presidential Candidates' TV Ads (1989-2022)

This dataset contains text transcripts of 2,005 TV campaign advertisements (part of the Free Electoral Advertisement Period -- Horário Gratuito de Propaganda Eleitoral ) of every presidential candidate in Brazil from 1989 to 2022. To our knowledge, it is the largest set of (transcripts of) such HPGE advertisements, covering almost every presidential TV campaign ad since Brazil's redemocratization Sources and description of folders and files in ReadMe.html and ReadMe.pdf.
