As one of the three major railway stations in Wuhan, Hankou Railway Station has long faced three core challenges in its ground transportation system amid surging passenger traffic: high traffic density, mixed functional zones, and limited spatial resources. To address the ground parking issues at Hankou Railway Station, reduce the risk of traffic gridlock, improve citizens' travel experience, and enhance Wuhan's urban image, this report analyzes the traffic flow data of Parking Lot No.2 and the coach parking lot at Hankou Railway Station across different time periods in the first quarter of 2025. The analysis aims to investigate and summarize the ground parking situation at Hankou Railway Station, ultimately providing precise data-driven decision-making support for optimizing parking management, cutting down the time costs for vehicle owners, upgrading service experiences, improving the ground parking governance capacity of Hankou Railway Station, and achieving a win-win outcome of both economic and social benefits.
