FEATURES OF MEASLES MORBIDITY AMONG THE ADULT POPULATION OF TASHKENT: AN ANALYSIS OF EPIDEMIOLOGICAL AND SEROLOGICAL DATA

Despite the implementation of routine measles vaccination programs, measles continues to represent a substantial public health challenge among the adult population of Tashkent. Epidemiological surveillance indicates a considerable burden of clinically confirmed measles cases, particularly among individuals aged 18–50 years, with diagnosis supported by positive measles-specific immunoglobulin M (IgM) serological findings. The absence of documented vaccination history or incomplete immunization has been identified as one of the principal risk factors contributing to disease susceptibility in this population.
