Depicts Major Roadway (Freeway/Tollway) segments from Mobility 2050, the long-range Metropolitan Transportation Plan for North Central Texas, adopted in June 2025. Segments with recommended improvements are indicated in the attributes. Recommendations for other roadway facilities (including Regionally Significant Arterials) are depicted elsewhere. Note that this layer contains all tracked freeway/tollway segments in the region, not just those with recommended improvements. Relevant Attributes: MTPID: Unique identifier for the segment. Facility: Name of the facility associated with the segment. LimitFrom/LimitTo: Limits of the segment. County: County containing the segment. District: TxDOT district ImplementingAgency: Agency that maintains the segment. CorridorType: "AO" if the segment is associated with an Asset Optimization recommentation, "FT" if the segment is associated with a Freeway/Tollway recommendation, null otherwise. CorridorNumber: AO/FT Corridor Number. CorridorName: Name for the project/corridor. Lanes20xx: Number of lanes in each plan year. Active: Indicates an active recommendation Illustrative: Indicates an illustrative project (informal projects not part of the fiscally-constrained plan) Recommendation: Indicates an active, fiscally-constrained recommendation on the segment NewAdd_Frwy: "Yes" if the segment includes new or additional general-purpose freeway lanes. NewAdd_Tllwy: "Yes" if the segment includes new or additional tollway lanes. NewAdd_TollMngd: "Yes" if the segment includes new or additional tolled managed lanes. NewAdd_StgdFrontage: "Yes" if the segment includes new or additional staged frontage lanes. AssetOptimization: "Yes" if the segment is associated with an asset optimization recommendation. AssetOptimizationDescription: Description of asset optimization improvements. Cost: Cost of recommended improvements on the segment. Vol_xx: MOBLOS segment volume. LOS_xx: MOBLOS Level of Service. LanesWarranted_xx: MOBLOS number of lanes warranted. FactSheetURL: Link to a fact sheet with more information on the corridor.
