A Benchmark of Indian M&A Data-Room Fixtures for Evaluating Evidence-Grounded Due-Diligence Systems

This dataset provides purpose-built documents modelled on the contents of an Indian M&A due-diligence data room — shareholders’ agreements, share registers, board and general meeting minutes, material contracts and statutory filings — together with machine-readable ground-truth labels. Each fixture is constructed so that the correct finding depends on reading across documents or on applying the law in force on the transaction’s reference date. Fixture classes cover omitted documents, unexecuted approvals, change-of-control clauses in unrelated contracts, share register and shareholders’ agreement mismatches, and reliance on superseded provisions, along with negative controls. Every label records the evidence location (document, page, character span) and, where applicable, the statutory provision and version relied on. No real company, person, transaction or identifier appears in this dataset. See README.md for structure, schema and limitations.
