<strong>***General Introduction***</strong>This dataset contains data (figures) collected as part of Chapter 4 in the doctoral thesis of Mr. Nikos Kougiatsos, M.Sc. in Delft University of Technology, 2020-2024.It is being made public both to act as supplementary data for publications of N. Kougiatsos and in order for other researchers to use this data in their own work.<br>This data is part of the project READINESS with project number TWM.BL.019.002 of the research programme ”Topsector Water \&amp; Maritime: the Blue route” which is partly financed by the Dutch Research Council (NWO).<strong>***Purpose of the collection***</strong>The purpose of these simulation was to showcase and analyse the performance of a distributed sensor fault diagnosis scheme for marine internal combustion engines.<strong>***Description of the data structure***</strong>The data included in this repository has the form of .fig, .mat and .png files. A detailed description follows next.<br><strong>results.mat </strong>: This mat file contains the recorded simulation results based on the proposed methodology in Chapter 4 and the considered fault scenario<strong>Chapter_4_Figure_X_desc.fig</strong>: These files hold the plotting information corresponding to Figure 'X' of Chapter 4 in .fig format. The contents of each Figure are briefly described by 'desc'.<strong>Chapter_4_Figure_X_desc.png</strong>: These files hold the plotting information corresponding to Figure 'X' of Chapter 4 in .png format. The contents of each Figure are briefly described by 'desc'.<strong>README.txt: </strong>Contains instructions regarding the use of the dataset<br><strong>***Dependencies***</strong>To read the simulation results and the plots, I used MATLAB R2021b. However, I believe that also other versions of MATLAB may work as well.
