Elucidating High Voltage Redox Activity in Cu-based Layered Oxide Materials with High Na content for Sodium-Ion Batteries

In this proposal we aim to study the oxygen redox activity in high voltage cathode materials for sodium ion batteries. For this, we plan to measure oxygen K-edge and TM L-edge of layered transition metal oxides with Cu substitution at different states of charge via X-ray Raman scattering spectroscopy (XRS).
