 Event Title DataVerse 2025: Where Data Fuels Innovation Tagline Analyze. Integrate. Innovate.Core ThemeDataVerse 2025 is a national-level interdisciplinary competition centered on \Unlocking the Power of Data: Fueling Innovation Across Disciplines with IEEE DataPort.\ Participants will leverage open-access datasets to engineer solutions for real-world challenges spanning computer science, electronics, mechanical systems, and beyond.Competition StructureRegistration & Dataset SelectionTeams (2-4 members) register and select an IEEE DataPort dataset.Duration: July 10\u201319, 2025.Problem Definition & Abstract SubmissionParticipants identify a challenge aligned with their dataset.Submit abstracts outlining problem statements and technical approaches.Deadline: July 25, 2025.Solution DevelopmentTeams analyze data, apply techniques (statistical modeling, ML, visualization), and develop sustainable solutions.Mandatory use of IEEE DataPort datasets with clear citation.      NOTE : 10 Teams will be shortlisted for the final presentation round.Final EvaluationShortlisted teams present solutions live to an expert jury via Google Meet.Date: August 6, 2025.Technical Focus AreasData Science & Engineering: Predictive maintenance, energy optimization, intelligent automation.Methodologies: Machine learning, signal analysis, system modeling, data visualization.Evaluation Criteria:Relevance of problem statementEffective dataset utilizationTechnical rigor and innovationSolution scalability and documentation quality  Key RequirementsAll phases conducted online; no physical attendance.Final submissions include:Technical report\/slide deck (problem statement, solution, visuals)GitHub repository (code quality assessed)Certificates awarded only to teams completing all phases.  Call to ActionEngineering students nationwide are invited to pioneer data-driven innovation.
