From Offshore Jet Cores to Wind-Energy Potential: Vertical Momentum Accessibility and Horizontal Extent

This dataset accompanies the manuscript "From Offshore Jet Cores to Wind-Energy Potential: Vertical Momentum Accessibility and Horizontal Extent". It contains a catalog of 2,730 offshore low-level-jet events and the processed data used for the four main figures and ten Supporting Information figures. The analysis covers 2015-2025 and 299 ERA5 grid cells in the Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu offshore sectors. Event-mean comparisons at four offshore observation sites are also included. Figures, code, ERA5 fields, original observation time series, and manuscriptfiles are not included.
