Spatial data of soil related microplastic case and field studies

The dataset stored within this repository contains the data of a literature review dealing with the spatial reference, sampling approaches and reported soil context of recent studies focusing on microplastic evidence in soils worldwide (case and field studies). <br> The data were selected through a literature query via Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics, search terms "microplastic" + "soil") and subsequent evaluation and includes, in addition to the papers analyzed (35 papers, 2016-03/2022), the questionnaire applied (metadata) and the corresponding responses. <br> The <strong>OMSP.xlsx</strong> datset includes three tables: 1) number of papers according to search terms by year (2016-03/2022); 2) responces to the questionnaire; 3) questionnaire (metadata). <br> The <strong>OMSP.csv </strong>dataset includes only the related papers (e.g., DOI identifier) and responces to the questionnaire.
