AVIRIS-4 CH4 Retrievals and Estimated Emissions of Controlled Release Experiment in Pau, France, in September 2024
收藏资源简介:
This dataset accompanies the study “Quantifying CH4 point source emissions with airborne remote sensing: First results from AVIRIS-4” and contains data collected during a blind controlled methane release experiment conducted in September 2024 at the TotalEnergies Anomalies Detection Initiative (TADI) site in Lacq, southern France. With AVIRIS-4, a state-of-the-art airborne imaging spectrometer developed by NASA JPL and deployed the University of Zurich, we acquired hyperspectral data at flight altitudes between 3300 and 12000 ft. We used a matched filter retrieval approach to produce high-resolution CH4 enhancement maps, followed by emission quantification using Integrated Mass Enhancement (IME) and Cross-Sectional Flux (CSF) methods. The dataset includes CH4 maps, wind data, and derived emission estimates with associated uncertainties.
