资源简介:

The data originates from a nationwide web-based survey conducted by Kantar through The Gallup Panel in 2022. A total of 6,049 respondents, aged 35 to 67 and with at least one living parent, participated in the study. The survey aimed to explore the experiences of adult children in balancing work responsibilities with caregiving duties for their elderly parents. The survey addressed several key issues: 1) To what extent do adult children provide various forms of help and care to their aging parents? 2) How does caregiving impact labor market participation and work absence? 3) What measures do adult children believe could facilitate the balancing of work and caregiving responsibilities? 4) Do the responses to these questions vary based on the characteristics of either the parents or the respondents? To complement the survey, Kantar provided register data on the participants, including their age, gender, level of education, geographic location, and the industries in which they were employed.
