DWCZ - CO - Manitou Experimental Forest, Hotel Gulch - Electrical Conductivity & Temperature (HOBO) - (MEF-HG-EC-Array-SBush) - (2018–2021)

NOTE: This resource represents the data as presented in Sidney Bush’s dissertation, working title: “Spatiotemporal Patterns in Hydrologic Connectivity in a Montane Headwater System in Central Colorado.”

Stream equipment was installed to measure electrical conductivity and temperature (HOBO). Grab samples were also collected for cations, anions, stable isotopes of water, and dissolved organic carbon (DOC).

Location Description: Hotel Gulch is within the Manitou Experimental Forest in central Colorado. The area contains a series of alluvial and colluvial fans, indicative of historic debris-flow scars. Equipment is installed within these fans at increasing distances from the stream. Stream sites are measured along a longitudinal profile, beginning at the headwater and extending to the lowest site just upstream of the flume.

Manual EC measurements were collected, but data from sites without EC probes were not used in the final analysis.
