Log Instructions from 100+ Software Systems

This is a collection of log instructions from more than 100+ software systems, available from GitHub. To collect this data, we crawled GitHub and searched for different systems from the following topics: Java, Python, Angular, Ruby, and PHP, selecting 7039 systems. Additionally, we collected the number of GitHub stars for each system. The two publications associated with this data use different subsets described in the papers. We assumed that the number of stars is a good indicator for the quality of logging and considered the top 100 in the experiments.
