This dataset comprises 16S rRNA V3-V4 region amplicon raw sequence data generated during the process of developing fecal kimchi to obtain fermentable gut lactic acid bacteria. The dataset includes feces, enriched feces in MRS medium, and fecal kimchi. Amplicon sequencing was performed using the Illumina MiSeq platform.
