Laser Capture Microdissection (LCM) analysis of mycorrhizal rice roots

Analysis of cell specific gene expression in mycorrhizal rice roots. Described in Roth, Chiapello et al. 2019 We used LCM to harvest arbusculated and adjacent systemic cells from mycorrhizal rice roots, along with cortical cells from mock inoculated plants Three replicates each were analyzed of 1) cells that contained arbuscules (A), 2) systemic cells (S) that were non-colonized but adjacent to arbusculated cells in colonized roots, 3) cells from mock (M) inoculated roots.
