This is an experimental study with the objective of investigating the chia oil effect on gut microbiota, intestinal morphology, and intestinal functionality in adults male Wistar rats fed with a high-fat high-fructose diet. Efects Chia oil consumption on the intestinal microbiota is still unknown. This study can help to identificate new strategies to improve the modulation and healthy intestinal based on the chia oil consumption.
