A 500-participant driver gesture recognition dataset covering diverse age groups, various time periods, and multiple gesture categories. For data acquisition, visible light and infrared binocular cameras were utilized. Each participant provided data of 18 static gestures and 23 dynamic gestures, where static gestures include fist clenching, heart-shaped gesture, etc., and dynamic gestures include index finger tapping, two-finger tapping, etc. This driver gesture recognition dataset can be applied to tasks such as driver gesture recognition.
