Project title: PMACS-86 Grant Information: AHA Grant 9TPA34910007, Regulatory role of pericardial macrophages in myocardial infarction Project Description: · Animal Model: Myocardial Infarction · Animal Age: 8-12 Weeks · Animal Sex: Male · Animal Strain: GATA6Venus Reporter Mice · Number: 9 mice · Groups: 5 infarction, 4 sham surgery · Experimental Conditions: Mice were given MI via LAD ligation. Animals were sacrificed at day 3 post-infarction or sham surgery. Pericardial fluid was harvested. Pericardial fluid was incubated for hours in AMCF media stimulated with ng/mL LPS as well as golgiplug and golgistop to allow for intracellular staining .
