GLM best model selections after 1,050 total computed models based on AICc to determine socio-demographic and environmental factors explaining level of STG, TG and SFG past exposures in the study area.

Similar initial models are applied comprising with the following variables: Landscape type, Gender, Occupation, Age, Educational level, Dog number, Cat number, Pig number, Poultry number and Cattle number (with Poisson distribution after checking data distribution using “fitdistrplus” package in R freeware). Analysis of deviance (type II test) significant level for each variable is indicated as following: *p = 0.05–0.01; **p = 0.01–0.001 and ***p < 0.001.
