The Eifel-Ardennes-Rhenish Massif Dataset and Carbon Mass Balance Calculations

This dataset contains geochemical data and carbon mass balance calculations supporting the findings of the paper "A common mantle source for the endogenous CO2 degassed at the Eifel (Western Germany) and the Ardennes (Eastern Belgium) regions".The file "Ricci_et_al_2026_Dataset.xlsx" contains the Eifel-Ardennes-Rhenish Massif dataset, including physical parameters, major and trace ion chemistry, dissolved gas concentrations and isotopic data (stable isotopes of water and isotopic composition of dissolved carbon) for water samples. References to the original data sources are also included.The file "Ricci_et_al_2026_Carbon_mass_Balance.xlsx" contains the carbon mass balance calculations for the same waters.
