Dataset, scripts and Supporting Information for temporal lag analysis between river discharge (Q) and total suspended solids (TSS) peaks

This folder contains data and scripts used to analyze the temporal lag between peak river discharge (Q) and total suspended solids (TSS) at U.S. Geological Survey gauging stations. The contents include: Time series data for Q and TSS at selected stations. R, Java, and MATLAB scripts for data analysis, including statistical evaluations and calculations of temporal lags. Scripts for generating river networks and delineating drainage basins upstream of gauging stations. MATLAB scripts used to create all plots presented in the manuscript and Supporting Information. Shapefiles as spatial inputs for MATLAB and JavaScript scripts, supporting geomorphological and hydrological analyses.
