资源简介:
Knee Osteoarthritis (KOA) is a prevalent degenerative joint disorder that leads to chronic pain, stiffness, and reduced functional mobility. Conventional physiotherapy approaches aim to manage symptoms but often provide limited long-term relief. Positional Release Technique (PRT) is a gentle manual therapy method that reduces musculoskeletal discomfort by positioning the affected tissues in their most relaxed state, thereby facilitating pain reduction and functional improvement. This randomized controlled trial was conducted to compare the effectiveness of PRT versus conventional therapy in patients with knee osteoarthritis. Outcomes assessed included pain intensity, range of motion, and functional performance. The dataset provides clinical measures and intervention details that may assist future physiotherapy research and clinical applications in the management of KOA.
