In this study, we examined gene expression in 69 primary samples from patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a complex hematologic malignancy, aiming to uncover potential avenues for novel treatment strategies. Primary human AML samples were isolated from peripheral blood mononuclear cells utilizing StemSep columns (STEMCELL Technologies, Canada). These samples were subsequently cultured in Stemline II Medium (Sigma, Hamburg, Germany) prior to harvesting for gene expression experimentation.
