8 specimens of C.nobilis (N=4 for each sex) were purchased from an aquaculture farm in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China.Equal amounts of high-quality RNA from each ovary or testis in mature stage were pooled together, respectively.The present study provides the first transcriptomic analysis of C.nobilis for understanding the molecular mechanisms of gonadal maturation.
