Hierologia: an open academic API for the comparative study of sacred traditions

Hierologia preserves theological, historical, and sociological knowledge across religious traditions as structured, neutral, well-sourced, and versioned data. This release covers two traditions, Islamic theology (kalam) and Christian theology, modeled as five entity types (concepts, figures, schools, and now events and works such as the ecumenical councils and creeds) linked into a graph. Each entry is sourced and peer-reviewed, and cross-tradition links compare comparable questions across traditions without equating their answers.
