CXCR5 modulates hippocampal developmental abnormalities and subsequent epilepsy development through the RhoA-Cofilin pathway

In this study, we conducted RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) to identify genes with key roles in synaptic function whose expression differed between CXCR5-knockout iPSC-derived neurons and scramble sgRNA controls (Supplementary Figure 2A). RNA was extracted at each stage, and the identified differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were classified into three categories (A, B, and C) based on comparisons between CXCR5-knockout and scramble sgRNA control cells.
