Crowdfunding utilization among retail investors in Japan 2023, by age

In a survey conducted in 2023, around 7.6 percent of private investors aged 20 to 39 in Japan reported using crowdfunding services. Respondents aged 70 years and older were the most hesitant to use crowdfunding, with over 51.2 percent stating they did not want to use the alternative financing service.
