Images from an Archaeological Watching Brief at 4 Kneesworth Street, Royston 2014-2017

This collection comprises images from a programme of archaeological investigation undertaken in response to a condition on planning consent for the redevelopment of buildings located on land to the rear of 4 Kneesworth Street, Royston, Hertfordshire. Fieldwork was undertaken by the Heritage Network in March 2017 and photographs taken between November 2014 and May 2016 were provided by Benington Park Property Developments Ltd. The monitoring of the remaining groundworks in the courtyard, and along the access from Kneesworth Street, revealed a great deal of modern disturbance and truncation.
