Impact of COVID-19 on corporate EBITDA-results in India Q1-Q2 2020, by sector

From the first quarter to the second quarter 2020, the aviation sector in India reported a change of -704.4 percent in terms of EBITDA results. It was the sector that was the worst impacted by the pandemic. Unlike other sectors, the aviation industry could not bet on a fast recovery as travel restrictions remained intact for a longer period. Furthermore, the services sector was hit hard with quarter-to-quarter change in EBITDA by -100 percent. Positive changes were reported by the life sciences, power, and technology & media sectors. The power sector reported a quarter-to-quarter change of nearly 62 percent.
