Genome resequencing of adaptive evolved Vibrio sp. dhg for raffinose utilization

We evolved Vibrio sp. dhg to improve its raffinose utilization. After ten serial cultures on the raffinose plate, the strain showing improved specific growth rate and raffinose consumption rate was screened and named VRA10. The genetic basis for improved raffinose utilization in the VRA10 strain was investigated by whole-genome sequencing.
