This repository contains postprocessed data used in the paper "iCSD may produce spurious results in dense electrode arrays" by Tharayil et al. The file csd_paper.tar.gz has the same structure as our Github repo. in the tarball, we include some prostprocessed data to simplify the replication of our results. In this tarball, the ``electrodes'' folder contains a subfolder called ``positions", which includes pickle files that store the interpolated 3D positions of each neural segment in the circuit model. Thus, to create the electrode files used in the LFP simulations, it is not necessary to run a single-timestep simulation of the circuit and interpolate the segment positions, as described under "Reproducing Figures 2-4" in the Readme of the Github repo. In each of the folders containing LFP simulations, we include in this tarball a subfolder called ``pkls'', which contains pickle files that store the summed contribution to the LFP from each of the cell types in the model. These are the outputs of step 3 in the section "Reproducing Figure 2", and of steps 3 and 6 in the section "Reproducing Figures 3 and 4" in the Readme of the Github repo.
