Lutjanus argentimaculatus, commonly referred to as the mangrove jack or mangrove red snapper, is a type of marine ray-finned fish belonging to the Lutjanidae family. Lutjanus argentimaculatus, with its wide tropical and sub-tropical Indo-Pacific range, inhabits diverse and extensive geographical areas. The bioproject consists of the high-throughput sequence data, generated and used in the assembly and annotation of Lutjanus argentimaculatus
