In this experiment, the green preparation of Silver Nanoparticles (AgNPs) was carried out by extracting different parts of Eriobotrya to prepare the extracts.The results showed that the extraction efficiency was enhanced without agglomeration when 40 ml of 1 mmol/L AgNO3 was added dropwise to 10 ml of loquat leaf extract. The average particle size of the prepared AgNPs was observed to be around 28 nm by SEM and TEM, and the outer layer of AgNPs was analysed by FTIR to be adsorbed with organic matter originating from a loquat leaf extract, which could promote the stabilisation of AgNPs. Following bioactivity analysis, the prepared AgNPs exhibited antioxidant properties and exhibited effective antibacterial properties against both E. coli and S. aureus.
