German small lake and pond inventory (GSLPI)

This dataset contains locations and selected attributes for ~262.000 small lakes and ponds (10 - 500.000 m2) in Germany. The data was collected from openly available cadastric information available at the federal state level as described in the sources.txt file. The data directory contains geometry data and attributes regarding the lakes and ponds. The scripts used to create the GSLPI can be found in the scripts directory. Both directories contain readme.txt files with further details.
