This series contains minutes and working papers of the Young Farmers' Finance Council (VA 1460).The Minutes were created to record summary details of the activities the Board of the Council discussed at meetings, decisions made on matters brought before the Board, correspondence and reports received, and financial information and schemes to encourage and support young farmers.Minutes relate to the activities for which the Council Board was responsible.In 2014, the Victorian Government sold Rural Finance Corporation II (VA 2985) which administered the Young Farmers' Finance Council. Then under the new Rural Assistance Schemes Act 2016, the Young Farmers' Finance Council Act 1979 was repealed.
