Post-fire soil recovery affected by soil depth and fire severity along a long-term chronosequence in a Central European temperate forest

Dataset (MS Excel file) provides information on soil physical, chemical and microbial properties analyzed in the organic and mineral horizons along the post-fire chronosequence. It includes measurements of organic matter content, bulk density, water-holding capacity, pH, available and total carbon, nitrogen, microbial respiration, and microbial biomass carbon and nitrogen.
