Number of Illumina reads sequenced per individual.

24 individuals were multiplexed on one lane of Illumina GAIIx sequencing, yielding 10,217,074 reads (mean 425,711). The above table lists the numbers of reads featuring the molecular identifiers (MIDs) assigned to each individual. Individuals ‘Control 5’ and ‘Bioassay 12’ were excluded from further analyses due to the low read counts for these individuals, resulting in an average read number of 461,533. Mean+/−SD read counts for high quality RAD alleles (3177 maternal-derived and 2878 paternal-derived, 6055 in total; see Table 3) are given.
