PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new tackifier resin emulsion which is excellent in emulsifiability and mechanical stability， and can impart high resistance to water adhesive force to an aqueous tacky/adhesive composition. SOLUTION: A tackifier resin emulsion contains a tackifier resin (A) and a neutralization salt of a polymer (B) including a structural unit 1 derived from an aromatic vinyl compound (b1) and a structural unit 2 derived from α，β-unsaturated dicarboxylic acids (b2)， in which a molar ratio of the structural unit 1 to a carboxylate structure contained in the structural unit 2 in the neutralization salt of the polymer (B) is 1/1 to 3/1.
