Gene database of Bartonella henselae strain MVT02

<i>Bartonella henselae</i> is a facultative intracellular microbe that belongs to proteobacterium. It targets red blood cells through expressing trimeric autotransporter adhesins. This work sought to provide fundamental information about the genetic repertoire of <i>B. henselae</i> strain MVT02 by parsing its annotated genome sequence downloaded from Genbank. Comprising gene name, gene function, and gene sequence, the database should find use in fundamental studies seeking to identify molecular mechanisms that underpin pathogenesis in the bacterium.
