Gene expression of Dioryctria sylvestrella (Ratzeburg) larvae after Beauveria bassiana infection

This study investigated the changes of gene expression at transcriptome level in an insect species after Beauveria bassiana infection. Specifically, the test insects were the 4th instar larvae of Dioryctria sylvestrella (Ratzeburg), an important trunk borer pest in Pinaceae. The Beauveria bassiana is a wild species collected from the Pinus koraiensis forest in northeast China. The species is from the 4th instar larvae of the Dioryctria abietella (Denis&Schifferm\u00fcller), another pest of the genus Pinus.
