Raw Sanger sequencing reads for a set of 18 bacteriophage hybrids harboring genome sequences derived from <i>S. epidermidis </i>phages Andhra and JBug18 (GenBank accession numbers KY442063 and MH972263, respectively). Hybrids 1-8 were generated by co-culturing both phages through the same host. Sequencing reads for hybrids 1-8 cover open reading frames across their whole genomes. Hybrids 9-18 were generated by passaging JBug18 through a host bearing a plasmid with Andhra-derived sequences (including <i>gp03</i> and <i>gp04</i>). Sequencing reads for hybrids 9-18 cover <i>gp03</i> and <i>gp04 </i>only.
