This study aims to examine the relationship between increase in drinking water turbidity parameter in some regions after earthquake in Kahramanmaras and bacterial load in the waters, to investigate whether there is a seasonal change in the bacterial load in question and, to investigate whether water transport channels are damaged in a way that causes an increase in bacterial load or presence of pathogens in drinking water by analyzing both welding and tap water together. This is a prospective study. After earthquake, Kahramanmaras Water and Sewerage Administration General Directorate is investigated E.coli and coliform microorganisms by culture methods according Ministry of Health "Regulation on Water Intended for Human Consumption", but many microorganisms that can cause serious diseases in humans are not investigated. With this study designed, the gap in this field will be closed. In addition, it is aimed to conduct a survey work on disaster victims' access to drinking and utility water, physical visible turbidity, perception levels of victims about turbid water, and their status of catching water-borne diseases.
