The aim of the study was to investigate gene expression during a timecourse of flag leaf senescence in wheat plants with delayed senescence due to downregulation of the NAM genes by an RNAi construct. Triticum aestivum cv. Bobwhite with the NAM RNAi construct were grown in a controlled environment room and samples were taken 3, 7, 10, 13, 15, 19 and 26 days after anthesis with 3 biological replicates. The middle 3cm lengthways of the flag leaf from an individual plant's main tiller was sampled. These samples were harvested in parallel with PRJNA497810 which was the wild type control line in the same background (Bobwhite).
