Respiratory physiology - processed

This dataset was generated in an in vivo OECD TG 413 90-days nose-only inhalation study where Sprague-Dawley rats were exposed to either 3R4F cigarette smoke or aerosols of the carbon heated tobacco product (CHTP) 1.2, a heat-not-burn platform. The study contains additional test groups that were examined following a systems toxicology approach (please refer to the study page for more detail on the study design). Respiratory frequency, tidal volume, peak inspiratory flow and respiratory minute volume were measured by using head-out plethysmography (EMKA Technologies). This dataset includes descriptive statistics at the group level.
