Phenotypic and Genotypic Datasets for Validation of Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) Markers Associated with Hydrogen Cyanide, Total Carotenoid, and Dry Matter Contents in Cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz)

This dataset contains the phenotypic and genotypic data supporting the manuscript "Validation of Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) Markers Associated with Hydrogen Cyanide, Total Carotenoid, and Dry Matter Contents in Cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz)." The dataset includes phenotypic measurements for total carotenoid content (TCC), dry matter content (DMC), and hydrogen cyanide (HCN), together with Kompetitive Allele-Specific PCR (KASP) genotyping data for nine SNP markers evaluated in two independent cassava breeding populations: the Advanced Yield Trial (AYT) population and the Seedling Nursery (SN) population. The data are provided to support reproducibility of the analyses and facilitate future marker validation and cassava breeding research.
