Bacterial microbiome metabarcoding of Australian spittlebugs (Hemiptera: Cercopoidea)

This project aims to explore the bacterial diversity associated with spittlebugs (Hemiptera: Cercopoidea) in Australia. The main focus of the project is related to biosecurity, assessing whether some of the bacterial groups may be pathogenic.
